ATHENS 02 August 2023 - The Philippine Embassy in Greece hosted an investment and tax briefing entitled, “Money Matters: A Guide to Financial Planning” conducted online by Mr. Mon Abrea, Founding Chairman and Chief Tax Advisor of the Asian Consulting Group (ACG), Trustee of the Center for Strategic Reforms of the Philippines and Co-Chair of the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Task Force on Paying Taxes, on Sunday, 23 July 2023.

The briefing was held in hybrid format with members of the Filipino Community in Cyprus and other parts of Greece participating via Zoom and Facebook live while those from Greece joined the Embassy officials and staff at the conference room of the Philippine Embassy.

During the briefing, Mr. Abrea provided the tips on how to manage finances, common money mistakes, investment programs in the Philippines and how to avoid scams.

The event was also held in partnership with the Migrant Workers Office in Greece. END
