PH Ambassador Presents Credentials to the Captains Regent of San Marino

SAN MARINO 11 August 2023 - Philippine Ambassador to Italy Neal Imperial presented his Letter of Credence and the Letter of Recall of his predecessor to Their Excellencies Captains Regent Alessandro Scarano and Adele Tonnini of the Republic of San Marino as non-resident Ambassador to San Marino on 02 August 2023. Deputy Chief of Mission Nina Cainglet and Minister Donna Celeste Feliciano-Gatmaytan accompanied Ambassador Imperial.
The ceremony was held at the Palazzo Pubblico, the seat of the government and institutional bodies of the Republic of San Marino.
San Marino is reputed to be the oldest republic in the world and is the third smallest state in Europe after The Vatican City and Monaco. The Philippines and San Marino are celebrating 20 years of the formal establishment of diplomatic relations this year. END
