PH Ambassador Discusses with Acting Mayor of Halden Possible Projects to Advance the Interests of Filipino Migrants

OSLO 11 August 2023 - Philippine Ambassador to Norway, Ambassador Enrico T. Fos was warmly received by Acting Mayor Linn Laupsa of Halden, Norway during his visit to the kommune on 28 July 2023.

The two officials discussed possible partnership between the Embassy and Halden kommune, as well as possible projects to advance the welfare and interests of around 100 Filipino migrants in Halden.

The meeting concluded with a cultural event organized by Den Filippinske Forening i Halden, the Filipino community organization in Halden, also attended by the Acting Mayor as well as other officials from the kommune.  END
