PH Ambassador to Norway Joins Arendalsuka 2023

OSLO 24 August 2023 - Philippine Ambassador to Norway Enrico T. Fos joined fellow ambassadors and high level officials in Norway in the Arendalsuka 2023 events held at Arendal Norway from 14 to 15 August 2023. 

Taking place every third week of August, Arendalsuka (Arendal Week) is the largest political gathering in Norway held annually since 2012. It is a national arena where actors within politics, society and business meet each other and the people, for debate and the formulation of policy for the present and future.

For this year’s event, Ambassador Fos participated in two main sessions namely the Global Outlook: Bridging A Fragmented World, and the Ambassador’s Roundtable, where ambassadors sat on the panel and gave their perspectives on big issues, such as climate change, the war in Ukraine and energy, which impact not only Europe but also other parts of the world, notably Asia and Africa.

After his events in Arendalsuka 2023, Ambassador Fos attended a Filipino cultural event held at Arendal Baptist Church, and participated by more than one hundred Filipinos from Arendal and neighboring towns. END
