PH Embassy Repatriates Filipina Stroke Survivor in Russia

MOSCOW 06 September 2023 - The Department of Foreign Affairs, through the Philippine Embassy in Moscow, Russian Federation, facilitated the repatriation of a 49-year-old Filipina in Moscow, who had a hemorrhagic stroke while at work. She was hospitalized twice in a span of a month in Kazan and Moscow, Russian Federation, respectively.
All expenses related to her repatriation, including airfare, medical equipment, medical escort, and all documents and clearances, were paid for and arranged by the Philippine Embassy in Moscow.
The overseas worker arrived in the Philippines and was reunited with her family on 04 September 2023. END
