Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corporation Promotes Clark in Japan as Gateway and Primary Destination

OSAKA 07 September 2023 – The president and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corp. (LIPAD) Noel F. Manankil paid a courtesy call to Philippine Consul General in Osaka Voltaire D. Mauricio on 04 September 2023, during its Central Luzon Japan Roadshow from 03 to 09 September 2023.
In partnership with the Department of Tourism – Region III, Clark Development Corporation (CDC) and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), LIPAD aims to introduce the diverse culture, attractions, services, and destinations that Central Luzon has to offer by supporting the resumption of the Clark International Airport (CRK) – Narita (NRT) route. It also endeavors to present the latest facilities and services of CRK and various sites and landmarks within its catchment areas through a product update and increase awareness and promote CRK as the main gateway to the Central and Northern Luzon regions of the Philippines and further position Clark as a primary destination among travelers.
Consul General Mauricio conveyed the Philippine Consulate General’s full support to the mission and encouraged the delegation to sustain their promotion of Clark, being the second major airport in Luzon, through linkages with the travel agencies in Japan and the help of other Philippine Consulates General in the country.
LIPAD is a consortium composed of Filinvest Development Corporation, JG Summit Holdings Inc., Philippine Airports Ground Support Solutions, Inc., and Changi Airport Philippines (I) Pte., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore’s Changi Airports International. LIPAD was also awarded the operations and maintenance of the Clark International Airport (CRK) and the adjoining Civil Aviation Complex on 16 August 2019. END
