Philippine Embassy in Brasilia Leads ASEAN Embassies’ Visit to Embraer Manufacturing Facility in Sao Paulo

Philippine Ambassador Joseph Gerard B. Angeles, as chair of the ASEAN Committee in Brasilia (ACB), led the ASEAN embassies to a visit of the Embraer commercial aircraft manufacturing facility in Sao Paulo in pursuit of economic diplomacy thrusts (Brasilia PE photo).

BRASILIA 11 September 2023 – The Philippine Embassy in Brasilia has reported that Amb. Joseph Gerard B. Angeles, as chair of the ASEAN Committee in Brasilia, led the Heads of Mission of ASEAN to a visit of the Embraer facility in Sao Paulo on 29 August 2023, particularly the commercial plane manufacturing division of the company.

As Brazil’s premier multinational aerospace company, Embraer designs, manufactures and sells commercial, military, executive and agricultural aircraft.

Embraer has a maintenance, repair and general overhaul service unit Clark, Pampanga catering to its E-Jets family of commercial jets in the Asia Pacific. E-Jets are a series of four aircraft models that can carry 70 to 130 passengers, and which currently has a global fleet of 1,300 units, operated by 70 airlines in 50 countries. END
