PH Embassy in Manama Collaborates with Al Rabeeh Medical Center on a Free Medical Camp for Filipinos in Bahrain

MANAMA 20 September 2023 – The Philippine Embassy in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, in cooperation with the Al Rabeeh Medical Center in Manama, successfully organized a Medical Camp for members of the Filipino community on 15 September 2023.
The medical camp offered the following free services: Blood tests, including fasting blood sugar, kidney screening, liver screening, and total cholesterol count, Vision Screening, Physical Examination, and Doctor’s Consultation. A total of 442 Filipinos availed of these free services during the Medical Camp.
During the medical camp, the Al Rabeeh Medical Center also provided a Privilege discount card for all the Filipino participants of the Medical Camp.
Ambassador Louis conveyed the Embassy’s gratitude to the management, panel of doctors, nurses, and staff of the Al Rabeeh Medical Center for working with the Embassy in providing free health screenings to the members of the Filipino community. Mr. Noufal Adattil, Chief Executive Officer of the Al Rabeeh Medical Center, also thanked the Embassy for collaborating with them and said that the Medical Camp is an effort by the Center to promote the prevention of various diseases, as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program.
This activity is part of the Embassy’s continuing program to promote the health and wellness of the Filipino community in Bahrain. END
