PH Embassy in Brussels Meets with Champ Cargosystems, Cargolux Airlines, and the Chamber of Commerce Luxembourg

BRUSSELS 22 September 2023 - Philippine Ambassador to Belgium Jaime Victor B. Ledda, together with other officials from the Philippine Embassy in Brussels, met with CHAMP Cargosystems CEO Chris McDermott and CFO Edward Kemp; Cargolux Airlines EVP/CFO Maxim Straus and Senior Manager for Government and Industry Relations Patrick Jeanne; and Chamber of Commerce Luxembourg CEO/Director-General Carlo Thelen in Luxembourg on 15 September 2023.

Luxembourgish company CHAMP Cargosystems has its largest overseas office in the Philippines, offering the most comprehensive range of integrated IT solutions in the air cargo industry.

Cargolux Airlines is Europe’s biggest all-cargo airline with a fleet of Boeing 747 freighters. The company has more than 85 offices in 50 countries. It won as “Best All Cargo Airlines'  for four consecutive years as chosen by readers of trade magazine Air Cargo News.

The Chamber of Commerce Luxembourg marked its 180th anniversary in 2021. It is the official spokesperson for 90,000 companies representing 75% of salaried employment and 80% of the Grand Duchy’s GDP. The Chamber also organizes economic trade missions to selected countries. END
