PH Embassy in Jordan Activates Emergency Management Team, Advises Filipinos to Continue Safety Measures

AMMAN 10 October 2023 – Following the on-going escalating situation in Gaza, the Philippine Embassy in Jordan started to activate its Emergency Management Team (EMT) while it continues to get in touch with Filipinos in the said areas.
Philippine Ambassador to Jordan Wilfredo C. Santos in a statement said, “We reiterate our reminder for Filipinos in Gaza to continue undertaking safety measures and take shelter in the nearest available protected area due to the increasing violence that threatens their security”.
On Saturday, the Embassy as well via Zoom Meeting advised the Filipino Community in Gaza to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary movement due to mounting violence and criminality.
