Wide Range of PH Products Featured in Philippine Week of AL Jazira Supermarket in Zinj, Kingdom of Bahrain

MANAMA 18 October 2023– Ambassador Anne Jalando-on Louis, together with Mr. Abdul Hussein Khalil Dawani, Chairman of the Al Jazira Group, officiated the formal opening of the Philippine Week at the Al Jazira Supermarket in Zinj, Kingdom of Bahrain, on 15 October 2023.

Al Jazira’s Philippine Week features promotions and discounts on various PHL products, both in-store shopping and delivery services, and will run from 15 to 21 October 2023.

A live cooking demonstration by Filipino Chef Anselmo T. Antonio was also arranged by Al Jazira supermarket. Among the Filipino dishes prepared by Chef Antonio were lumpiang gulay, beef with ampalaya, and turon.

Ambassador Louis and Mr. Abdul Hussain Khalil also led the cake-cutting ceremony at the opening of Al Jazira’s PHL Week.

Ambassador Louis extended her appreciation to Al Jazira Supermarket for organizing the Philippine Week and promoting PHL products to the Bahraini market. END.
