PH Ambassador Presents Credentials to the President of the Slovak Republic

BRATISLAVA 31 October 2023 - Philippine Ambassador Evangelina Lourdes A. Bernas presented her letters of credence as Non-Resident Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the Slovak Republic to President Zuzana Čaputová of the Slovak Republic during a ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Bratislava. 

Ambassador Bernas and President Čaputová exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest, including possible areas of bilateral cooperation in agriculture, energy, water management, manufacturing, and trade and investment, as well as mutual support in multilateral diplomatic engagements. 

Ambassador Bernas assured President Čaputová of her firm commitment to expand and strengthen bilateral cooperation, as the Philippines and Slovak Republic celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year.  END
