Fourth Batch of Filipinos and their Families from Gaza Now Bound for Home to the Philippines

CAIRO 14 November 2023 — The fourth batch of Filipinos and their families is bound to the Philippines from the Cairo International Airport. The 13 Filipinos brought the total repatriated Filipinos to 102 since 07 November 2023.

 

The repatriation operation was in coordination with the Philippine Embassies in Amman, Jordan and Tel Aviv, Israel. Consul Bojer Capati led the sendoff team at the Cairo International Airport. Furthermore, the Philippine Embassy expressed its utmost appreciation to the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its assistance in the entry of Filipinos into Egypt through the Rafah border.
