PH Embassy in Cairo Hosts “Discover the Philippines” Tourism Promotion Event

CAIRO 28 November 2023 – On 21 November 2023, more than 40 tour operator representatives and members of the Egyptian media attended Discover the Philippines, a tourism promotion event hosted by the Philippine Embassy in Cairo at the Conrad Hotel. 

This event aims to raise awareness of the Philippines, its tourist attractions, people, history, culture and natural heritage. The presentation covered topics including popular Philippine tourist destinations such as Boracay, Cebu and Bohol, Palawan and Manila, as well as heritage sites, outdoor and adventure tours, and Philippine visa application procedures. 

Discover the Philippines is an Embassy initiative to boost outbound tourism from Egypt to the Philippines, generate awareness of Filipino culture and history, and promote people-to-people connection between Filipinos and Egyptians. END
