During the call, both officials exchanged views on the Singapore Cooperation Programme (SCP), which is funded by the Singapore government to provide opportunity for officials from other countries to participate in training courses in such areas as trade and investment, good governance, education, information technology and healthcare.

The Ambassador thanked Director Heng on behalf of Philippine participants of SCP courses. Director General Heng, for his part, said that Singapore looks forward to continued engagement with the Philippines under the SCP.  END
