TVRI Interviews Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia for “Patikim sa Pasko” Event

JAKARTA 05 December 2023 —- Philippine Ambassador Gina A. Jamoralin, in promoting the Embassy’s culinary event “Patikim sa Pasko” to be held in Jakarta on 06 December 2023, was interviewed by Indonesian national TV station TVRI for its program, ‘Ambassador’s corner’, held at the chancery on 30 November 2023.

During the interview, Ambassador Jamoralin shared the close bilateral relationship between the Philippines and Indonesia, noting the areas of cooperation in the fields of trade and investment, creative economy, defense and border patrol, culture and tourism, and education.

The Ambassador highlighted that the two countries will celebrate their 75 years of close friendly relations in 2024. She also noted that H.E. President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos, Jr. paid a State Visit to Indonesia in September 2022, a few months after he assumed his office, and also participated at the two ASEAN summits hosted by Indonesia in Labuan Bajo in May 2023 and in Jakarta in September 2023.
