PH Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Delegation to Pursue Fisheries and Aquaculture Cooperation with Hawaii

HONOLULU 12 December 2023 – Philippine Consul General Emil Fernandez received an eight-member delegation from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), Department of Agriculture, led by National Director Demosthenes R. Escoto.  The delegation arrived in Honolulu from Cook Islands where they attended the 20th Regular Session of the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC). The delegation passed by Hawaii for meetings with local agencies in preparation for planned Philippines-Hawaii cooperation activities in the field of fisheries and aquatic resources next year. END
