27 June 2014 – The officers and staff of the Philippine Embassy in Paris joined the annual celebration of Fête de la Musique (Festival of Music), which is celebrated during the Summer Solstice. In France, it is celebrated every June 21, or the first official day of summer.

Several Filipino amateur artists performed and showcased their talents in this year’s Fête de la Musique. The artists entertained the Filipino and French crowd with famous Original Pilipino Music and international songs.

Filipino-organized events took place in two venues in Paris:Fontaine Igor Stravinsky near Centre Georges Pompidou and Place Jose Rizal in Rue de Maubeuge.  END
