Philippine Ambassador Presents Credentials to the Bolivian President

BUENOS AIRES 19 December 2023 - On 11 December 2023, Philippine Ambassador to the Plurinational State of Bolivia, with residence in Argentina, Grace T. Cruz-Fabella presented her credentials to President Luis Alberto Arce Catacora at the Casa Grande Del Pueblo in La Paz, Bolivia.

Present during the presentation was the recently appointed Foreign Minister of Bolivia, Celinda Sosa Lunda and Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Erwin Freddy Mamani Machaca. A total of ten resident and non-resident Ambassadors presented their credentials.

During the téte-á-téte following the presentation, President Arce and Ambassador Cruz-Fabella discussed potential areas for cooperation, agreeing that the Philippines and Bolivia should work together to strengthen bilateral relations in the areas of culture and trade. 

The successful presentation signals the next chapter of Philippine-Bolivia relations, which is hopefully revitalized with the recent appointment of Foreign Minister Sosa. END
