5th Assistance-To-Nationals Mission Conducted to Aid Maui Wildfire Casualties
Casualties of the Maui wildfires are attended to by the Consulate team at the Lahaina Civic Center.
HONOLULU 22 December 2023 – The Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu conducted its fifth assistance-to-nationals mission at the Lahaina Civic Center on 19 December to assist Filipinos impacted by the 8 August Maui wildfires.
The team disbursed financial assistance to 57 Filipino beneficiaries. To date, total financial assistance has been extended to over 630 beneficiaries with approximately US$190,000 in cash provided.
