PH Embassy in Dili, Members Church of God International Organize Free Store Program for Filipino Community

DILI 17 January 2024 – Members Church of God International (MCGI) in Timor-Leste headed by its representative Mr. Robert Navoa organized a Free Store event marking its final leg of MCGI Cares Program’s series of charitable activities from 11-14 January 2024. The activity was attended by more than 160 Filipinos that had access to essential groceries, food items and hot meals, among others.
In addition, MCGI generously donated wheelchairs, braille sets, canes, and food supplies, among others, to various charitable institutions, emphasizing their commitment to support and extend assistance to their cause.
The participants expressed their thanks and gratitude for the assistance provided by MCGI. This initiative aimed to support and uplift the local Filipino community, as well as to provide assistance to charitable institutions in Dili, Timor-Leste. The generosity and compassion demonstrated by the organization have left a lasting impression on the Filipino community, fostering a sense of unity and support. END
