PH Honorary Vice Consul in Perth, Western Australia Takes Oath

CANBERRA 05 February 2024 – Philippine Ambassador to Australia Ma. Hellen De La Vega, administered the oath of office to Ms. Melissa D. Aguasa as Philippine Honorary Vice Consul to Western Australia on 30 January 2024. 

The Honorary Vice Consul is responsible for assisting the Honorary Consul in promoting and protecting the interests of the Philippines in Western Australia. It is also her duty to assist the Honorary Consul in protecting the rights and promoting the welfare of Filipino citizens in her consular jurisdiction. While honorary consular offices are able to offer a range of services, passport renewal may only be served by full Philippine consular offices in Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne. END
