St. Gotthard Parish in Prague Gives Donation to Missionary Station Project in Ormoc City
PRAGUE 01 April 2024 – The St. Gotthard Parish in Bubeneč recently donated the amount of 400USD to a missionary station project in Ormoc City as part of the Prayer for the World project. The information was conveyed by Father Miloš Szabo, Parish Priest to the Embassy.
Prayer for the World project started in 2020 where St. Gothard Parish offers a special mass for a chosen country on the first Monday of the month, with special intentions for peace and security for future generations. Special intentions are also offered daily for the chosen country for the whole month.
As the chosen country for the month of February, a special mass was held for the Philippines on 5 February 2024 where Ambassador Eduardo Martin R. Meñez briefed the parishioners on Philippine History and Christianity after the mass. END
