PH Embassy in Saudi Arabia Hosts Student Leaders Immersion

RIYADH 30 April 2024 – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh hosted an immersion program for Filipino student leaders called "A Day in the Life of a Diplomat." The program was attended by 15 Filipino students from different Philippine Schools Overseas in Saudi Arabia, including Al Taj International School, Elite International School, Future Generation International School, International Philippine School in Al Khobar, International Philippine School in Riyadh, International Philippine School in Jeddah, and Second Philippine International School.
The program aimed to offer students an in-depth look into the life and work of diplomats serving overseas and deepen their understanding of Embassy operations. Through engaging activities, students gained valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities of diplomatic work.
The program also served as a platform to inspire and encourage student leaders to pursue careers in international relations and diplomacy. The attendees had the opportunity to interact with diplomats and embassy staff, gaining valuable advice on building a successful career in the Foreign Service. END
