PH Ambassador Hosts Linamnam, Filipino-style Dinner for Ambassadors in Oman

MUSCAT 10 May 2024 – The Philippine Embassy in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, organized Linamnam (flavor), a dinner featuring Filipino dishes, on 07 May 2024 at the Ambassador’s official residence.
Led by Filipino executive chef, Mr. Harold Castillo, and his team from the Filipino Chefs Guild in Oman, a seven-course meal was served to the Heads of Posts of Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Brunei Darussalam, Singapore, and Thailand.
Each dish came with an introduction from Chef Castillo, expounding on its rich Filipino history and heritage for a greater appreciation of the Filipino cuisine.
The dinner featured Filipino classics such as sisig, adobo, tinola, lumpiang sariwa, lengua, and chicken inasal, in line with Post’s vision for greater and wider appreciation of Filipino food. END
