PH Consulate General in Jeddah Repatriates Distressed Filipino-Bangladeshi Family

JEDDAH 17 May 2024 – The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah (Jeddah PCG) organized the repatriation flight of Ms. Amira Manalokon-Rashed and her six children after successfully obtaining the necessary travel documents for Ms. Fairodz and her children. The family left Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on the evening of 11 May 2024 via Saudia Airlines flight SV870 and arrived in Cotabato via Philippine Airlines flight PR 2959 in the morning of 12 May 2024. 

 

Ms. Amira and her children sought refuge at the temporary shelter of Jeddah PCG for almost seven months. In addition to providing her and her children with flight tickets to the Philippines, Jeddah PCG also provided them assistance in processing their final exit visas from Saudi Arabia and their relevant civil registration documents and passports.
