07 July 2014 – Philippine Ambassador to Turkey Maria Rowena M. Sanchez, accompanied by Minister and Consul General Robert Ferrer, met with the Ankara Municipal Mayor Melih Gokcek on June 04.  Mayor Gokcek is a member of the ruling AK Party (Justice and Development Party).  The meeting highlighted warm and friendly relations between the Philippines and Turkey and forthcoming joint activities to commemorate the 65^th year anniversary of diplomatic relations.  END
