08 July 2014 - Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Antonio A. Morales made his introductory call on Director-General Kok Li Peng, ASEAN Directorate, Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) on July 7. Director-General Kok and Ambassador Morales exchanged views on a number of issues including the ASEAN Economic Community 2015, developments in the South China Sea and forthcoming ASEAN events such as the 28th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games to be hosted by Singapore in 2015 and the ASEAN Golden Anniversary Summit and related meetings to be hosted by the Philippines in 2017. The Director General expressed Singapore’s appreciation for the positive contributions of Filipinos to the Singapore economy and society. END
