08 July 2014 - The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh participated in the first edition of the Riyadh International Exhibition which was held from June 22 to 25 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center in King Abdullah Road, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The exhibition was organized under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, and under the supervision of the Saudi Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The event aimed to show the investment trade and business opportunities offered by the Saudi economy to the business community and deepen international cooperation in all areas, enhance relationships and bring views of exporters and importers closer through direct meetings during the exhibition.

The Philippines showcased the different tourist destinations in the country, which includes Puerto Princesa in Palawan and the famous beaches located in the Visayas Region and Davao. Visitors to the Philippine booth also inquired about specific travel packages being offered to those who want to go to the Philippines for vacation.  END
