LOS ANGELES 15 August 2024 – Asian-American business chambers, led by the Coalition of Filipino American Chambers of Commerce (COFACC), organized a first-of-its-kind Asian-American Business and Cultural Expo at the Cerritos Center for Performing Arts in Cerritos, CA on 8 August 2024.

Supporting COFACC as co-hosts were the Korean American Chamber of Commerce of Orange County, Asian Organization Alliance, Indonesian American Business Council, and the Vietnamese American Chamber of Commerce. Around 800 participants were present, including Asian American business owners and entrepreneurs; investors interested in Asian American markets; and professionals seeking networking opportunities.  Consul Francis Maynard S. Maleon, Philippine Trade & Investment Center – Los Angeles Trade Commissioner Eric C. Elnar, and Economic Assistant Edwin R. De Pacina represented the Consulate General at the event.

The event not only celebrated the cultural diversity of Asian communities in Southern California but also underscored their contributions to the vibrant business landscape in the region. The event also provided a platform for Asian American Chambers of Commerce and cultural organizations to work together and showcase their rich cultural heritage and dynamic business ecosystems, as well as promote cross-cultural and economic collaboration.
