Philippines, Cambodia Eye Cooperation on Good Governance

PHNOM PENH 10 September 2024 – Philippine Ambassador Flerida Ann Camille P. Mayo paid a courtesy call on Cambodian Minister of Inspection Huot Hak on 04 September 2024. They discussed potential collaboration between the Philippines and Cambodia in promoting good governance through the exchange of best practices and capacity building.

Minister Huot updated the Ambassador on Cambodia’s domestic developments while the Ambassador shared the latest progress in wide-ranging areas of bilateral cooperation. “I appreciate  Cambodia’s interest in good governance as a new area of bilateral cooperation in pursuit of our countries’ earnest efforts to promote accountability and transparency in public service,” the Ambassador stated.

Both sides looked forward to mutual benefits from broadening the Philippines-Cambodia friendship. END
