Saudi and Philippine Chambers Sign Landmark MOU at Halal Investment Forum

RIYADH 12 November 2024 – The Philippine Embassy witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Federation of Saudi Chambers, aimed to boost trade and investment between two countries. The signing was held during the Halal Trade and Investment Forum at the Federation of Saudi Chambers Headquarters as part of the Philippine Halal Mission to Saudi Arabia on 31 October 2024. 

The Halal mission led by the Department of Trade and Industry explored avenues of collaboration in expanding the availability of Philippine products and services in the Kingdom. 

The agreement is a significant milestone in Philippine-Saudi relations and will serve as a foundation for projects aligned with both countries’ goals in sustainable development, trade expansion, and promotion of cultural ties. END
