PH Embassy in Vienna Repatriates Remains of Marvil Facturan Kocjančič
VIENNA 28 January 2025 – The Philippine Embassy in Vienna has facilitated the repatriation of the remains of Ms. Marvil Facturan-Kocjančič departed Ljubljana on Friday, 24 January 2025, and arrived in Cebu on Monday, 27 January 2025.
The Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila is in coordination with Ms. Facturan’s mother who will receive the remains in her home town in Negros Oriental.
Ms. Facturan’s husband who is accused of this crime is currently detained in a forensic prison in Slovenia for persons with mental illness and charged with a crime. The government of the Philippines through its Embassy in Vienna will continue to monitor the developments in this case and advocate for justice for Ms. Facturan and her family. END
