PH Consul General Talks About PCG Vancouver Emergency Response Mapping Registry on OMNI TV

VANCOUVER 03 February 2025— Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin was interviewed by OMNI News TV - Filipino about its recently launched initiative, the PCG Vancouver Emergency Response Mapping Registry (VERMAP).

In the interview, the Consul General explained the reason for creating the registry. She emphasized that this registry will allow the Consulate to reach out to Filipinos in its jurisdiction during large-scale emergencies. Consul General Jamoralin also remarked that signing up in the registry is completely voluntary and that Filipinos can update their information by using the same QR code posted on the Consulate’s website and social media accounts.
