KUWAIT 05 February 2025 — The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait officially opened its National Arts Month celebration on 02 February 2025 with an exhibit at the Cultural Heritage Corner in Sabah Al Salem. This year’s theme “Ani ng Sining: Diwa at Damdamin (Harvests of Art: Essence and Passion)” highlights how the nation’s artistic expression is deeply rooted in the collective passion and spirit of its people.

The exhibit features artistic works from Filipino art organizations and individuals in Kuwait, showcasing a diverse collection of paintings, photographs, sculpture, and line art. These works highlight both contemporary and traditional artistic expressions, with pieces inspired by Philippine landmarks and cultural icons.

Video presentations from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) are displayed on TV monitors throughout the chancery, providing a broader perspective on Filipino artistic achievements across multiple disciplines, including music, dance, theater, visual arts, literature, film, broadcast arts, architecture, and allied arts—each playing a pivotal role in preserving and promoting Filipino cultural identity.

The exhibit is open to the public until 27 February 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (GMT +3), Sundays to Thursdays, except on holidays. END
