PH Consulate General in Guangzhou Hosts Pasinaya-Palitan 2025
GUANGZHOU 24 February 2025 — The Philippine Consulate General in Guangzhou, in collaboration with the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), successfully hosted Pasinaya-Palitan 2025 on 18 February 2025. This marks the first time the Pasinaya-Palitan activity has been held in Guangzhou, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and China.
Pasinaya-Palitan serves as an arts exchange platform, allowing Philippine performing groups to network and present their work to international partners, embassies, and potential collaborators. A total of six Philippine performing groups participated in this virtual event, showcasing their talents and exploring opportunities for future collaboration.
Esteemed guests from Guangxi Arts University participated in the event, highlighting the strengthened cultural ties between the Philippines and China.
Philippine Consul General to Guangzhou Iric Cruz Arribas expressed his gratitude to all participants and partners, emphasizing the importance of cultural diplomacy in fostering deeper bilateral relations.
