17 July 2013 - On July 09, the Foreign Affairs Office (FAO) of the Xiamen Municipal People’s Government and the Public Security Bureau (PSB) of Xiamen City, in cooperation with the Philippine Consulate General in Xiamen, Royal Thai Consulate General and Singapore Consulate General organized a seminar on the Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People’s Republic of China, which took effect on July 01, to help visiting foreigners (i.e. expatriates, students, tourists, etc) as well as Xiamen-based enterprises, which employ foreigners, better understand said law. 

The lecture-seminar was presided over by Zhang Jianhua, Deputy Director General of Xiamen FAO and Mr. Meng Zheng, Director General of Exit and Entry Administration of Xiamen Public Security Bureau. 

The speakers during said lecture-seminar were Ms. Ye Miaohong and Ms. Xiong Qi, both from Xiamen PSB.  It was attended by about 81 delegates from different sectors of the community, including Filipino expatriates and Filipinos with business that employ fellow Filipinos and other foreign nationals.  END
