Philippine Ambassador Presents Credentials to Estonian President

HELSINKI 29 May 2025 — Philippine Non-Resident Ambassador to the Republic of Estonia Domingo P. Nolasco presented his Letter of Credence to President Alar Karis at the Kadriorg Palace on 27 May 2025.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Nolasco conveyed President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr’s best wishes for President Karis and for the prosperity of the Republic of Estonia. Ambassador Nolasco further reaffirmed the Philippines’ commitment to strengthen cooperation to advance peace, stability, and prosperity for the Philippines and Estonia.
With the reopening of the Embassy of the Philippines in Helsinki, Finland in October 2024, the jurisdiction over the Republic of Estonia was transferred from the Embassy of the Philippines in Warsaw, Poland to the Embassy in Helsinki. This marks a reinvigoration and further deepening of Philippine-Estonian relations in various fields such as in digital cooperation, e-governance, education, sustainability, and cultural exchanges.
