25 July 2014 – The Philippine Embassy Rome, headed by Philippine Vice Consul Margret Malang, headed to Florence July 19 to 20 to extend consular services to our kababayans in the regions of Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna. With the usual support and cooperation of the Confederation of Filipino Communities in Tuscany (CFCT) headed by Ms. Divinia Capalad, the team was able to process 487 e-passports, 28 reports of birth and 256 new overseas voters.
The Philippine Labor Office headed by Labor Attache Viveca Catalig likewise joined the outreach together with Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Pag-Ibig and Social Security System (SSS).
The next consular outreach missions of the Philippine Embassy Rome will be held in Tirana, Albania from July 26 to 27 and in Cagliari, Sardegna from August 9 to 10. END
