JEDDAH 11 June 2025 – Philippine Ambassador Raymond Balatbat hosted the visit of the Misa Conjoined Twins to the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh.
Conjoined twins Klea Ann and Maurice Ann Misa from Lubang Island Occidental Mindoro flew from the Philippines to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the third pair of twins from the Philippines to become the benefactor of the Saudi Conjoined Twins Programme of the Saudi Government.
Accompanied and supported by their parents Leo and Maricel Misa, the twins are in high hopes of finally being able to move independently from each other as they have been interconnected for six years. The twins are currently in the care of the Saudi Ministry of Health while they undergo several medical check-ups ensuring their safety as they embark on a rigorous medical procedure and eventual separation.
