28 July 2014 – The Philippine Embassy in Doha, State of Qatar conducted overseas voters registration and orientation on consular services at the accommodations of Boom Construction in at Industrial Area on July 18, and in Messaied on July 25.

 

A total of 124 overseas voting applications were processed.  Eighty-one (81) applications were processed at the accommodation at the Industrial Area and 43 applications were processed at the accommodation in Messaied.

 

Vice Consul Melvin Almonguera conducted the orientation on consular services before the start of the registration at Industrial Area and the Philippine’s Administrative Officer Victoria Artificio conducted the same in Messaied. 

 

The Philippine Embassy also processed 29 applications during the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountant’s (PICPA) annual induction program on July 25 held at Marriot Hotel Doha. Vice Consul Kristine Bautista conducted the orientation on consular services before the start of the registration.

 

The Philippine Embassy regularly conducts mobile registrations during events of Filipino community organizations and in companies with many Filipino employees to reach out to many eligible overseas voters. END
