Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver Witnesses Signing of Memorandum of Understanding Between Philippine and Canadian Universities

VANCOUVER 07 July 2025 — At the sidelines of the Networking Session for the Philippine Commission on Higher Education (CHED) officials, representatives from the Philippine Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs), and academic institutions in BC, at the Consulate on 26 June 2025, the Consulate witnessed the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) and the University Canada West (UCW) and Memorandum of Understanding between Panpacific University and UCW.
The MOUs aim at developing and carrying out collaborative efforts to promote teaching and research activities. The UCW is a private, teaching-focused university located in downtown Vancouver, BC founded in 2005. It offers applied undergraduate and graduate programs in business and management. END
