Da Nang City Features Video on PH-Vietnam 10th Anniversary of Strategic Partnership, 49th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations

HANOI 21 July 2025 — In celebration of the deepening ties between the Philippines and Vietnam, the Philippine Embassy in Hanoi in cooperation with the Da Nang People’s Committee, showcased a commemorative video highlighting key milestones in the bilateral relationship between the Philippines and Vietnam which will be displayed on LED screens across Da Nang City from 11 to 17 July 2025.

The initiative forms part of the commemorative activities for two important occasions this 2025, namely, the 10th Anniversary of the Strategic Partnership between the Philippines and Vietnam, and the 49th Anniversary of the Establishment of Philippine - Vietnam which was established on 12 July 1976. 

The video features photos and other video materials from high-level meetings between Philippine and Vietnamese officials including the State Visit of Philippine President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to Hanoi in January 2024 and the courtesy call of Philippine Ambassador to Vietnam Meynardo LB. Montealegre on Party General Secretary To Lam in April 2025. These moments underscore the mutual commitment of the two countries in strengthening political and economic relations, people-to-people ties, and the enduring friendship and deepening cooperation of the two nations.

The video was displayed on various LED screens across Da Nang City from 11 to 17 July 2025.
