Filipinas Redefine eSports at eSports World Cup Mobile Legends Bang Bang Women’s Invitational 2025

RIYADH 28 July 2025 – The Philippines proudly celebrated the achievements of Team NAVI PH and Team Liquid PH following their commanding performances at the preliminary round of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational (MWI) 2025, held during the Esports World Cup in Riyadh on 15 July 2025.
Both all-female squads opened their campaigns with decisive 2–0 victories, showcasing the strength of Filipina talent on the global stage. NAVI PH, defending champions and former Smart Omega Empress, swept Cambodia’s CFU Gaming, while Team Liquid PH, a newly formed roster, overwhelmed China’s Tidal Legends Gaming.
The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh extended its official congratulations to both teams, commending their role in promoting national pride, gender inclusivity, and excellence in esports. Embassy officials noted that the teams’ success reflects the growing global influence of Filipino athletes and the country’s commitment to empowering women in technology and competitive gaming.
