01 August 2014 -The Philippine Consulate General in Osaka-Kobe conducted another consular outreach in Nagoya on July 26, in coordination with the Aichi International Association (AIA) and the Ichinomiya Pilipino Community (IPC). It is the fourth consular outreach mission conducted by the Consulate General in the Chubu area in 2014.
One hundred sixty-eight (168) applications for passport renewal were processed while the notarials section received 85 requests for certification, authentication and notarization of documents. Fifteen (15) reports of birth were requested.
During the consular outreach, the Consulate General’s personnel also conducted mobile overseas voters registration in preparation for the 2016 national elections. More than 60 individuals were able to apply for overseas voting, while some of those who were already registered in the overseas voting system were able to update their addresses in the voters’ list. Overseas voters registration is being conducted in all Foreign Service Posts until October 31, 2015. END
