06 August 2014 -     The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw pursued economic diplomacy in Poznan, which is Poland’s third largest city, by meeting with the president of the Poznan Chamber of Commerce Mr. Andrzej Lyko, its Director Ms. Iwona Wesolek, and the President of the Poznan Business Club Mr. Henryk Judkowiak on July 29 at the Chamber’s office.

Philippine Ambassador to Poland Patricia Ann Paez gave an overview about the Philippines and the trade and investment opportunities in the country for Polish investors and traders. The video “It’s More Fun in the Philippines” and slide photos of tourist attractions were also shown to the officials.

The Poznan officials gave suggestions to enhance the presentation and committed to fully mobilize all their members for a meeting with Ambassador Paez sometime during the third quarter of this year.

Ms. Evelyn Vega and Mr. Jose Magaso accompanied Ambassador Paez during her meeting in Poznan. END
