13 August 2014 - The Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu, Hawaii led by Consul General Gina Jamoralin, welcomed the Philippine delegation to the Philippine-United States Mutual Defense Board-Security Engagement Board (MDB-SEB) Executive Committee Meeting on August 11.

The Philippine delegation, composed of representatives from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), is headed by AFP Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans J5 BGen Raul Del Rosario. They will meet with their American counterparts to discuss the proposed joint military activities for 2015, with the end goal of further strengthening and modernizing the Philippines-US defense alliance.

Also joining the Philippine delegation are Assistant Secretary Maria Andrelita S. Austria of the Department of Foreign Affairs-Office of American Affairs and Executive Director Eduardo Oban, Jr. of the Presidential Commission on the Visiting Forces Agreement (VFACOM).

The MDB-SEB Executive Committee meeting commenced on August 11 and will end today, August 13. END
