27 August 2014 - The Philippine Embassy in Vientiane reported to the Department of Foreign Affairs that the second phase of the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) Program for Senior Public Managers (PSPM) in Lao PDR officially started on August 11 at the National University of Laos (NUOL).

 

The second phase of the PSPM, with a theme “Public Managers as Drivers for Growth, Development and Competitiveness,” is an intensive three-week course on Development Management and Leadership.  The first phase of the PSPM was held from November 18 to December 6, 2013 at NUOL.

 

Vice Minister of Education and Sports Sengdeuane Lachathaboun, Dean of the Asian Institute of Management – Stephen Zuelling Graduate School for Development Management Juan Miguel Luz,  and Philippine Ambassador to Lao PDR Maria Lumen B. Isleta welcomed the 40 participants from the different Lao ministries/agencies and local government units.

 

Six professors from the AIM, with two of them alternating for each week, will conduct the program. END
