29 August 2014 - Reigning Miss Universe Gabriela Isler paid a courtesy call on Philippine  Consul General Mario L. De Leon, Jr. on August 28 at the Philippine Consulate in New York to discuss Miss Universe Organization’s partnership with Dutch development agency Cordaid, which aims to create a global fund to raise awareness and money to “build back better” the regions affected by typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan.
