29 August 2014 – The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles sent a team led by Vice Consul Rainier Casis to conduct a two-day consular outreach program in National City, California, U.S.A. from August 23 and 24.
The consular outreach program was undertaken in cooperation with the Council of the Philippine American Organizations of San Diego County, Inc. (COPAO).
A total of 673 consular and voter registration services were rendered during the two-day consular outreach program, breakdown of which is as follows:
Vice Consul Casis was accompanied by Misses Wilma Bautista, Rebecca Hipolito, Ellenor Tolentino and Marie Ople and Messrs. Vittorio Palado, and Edgardo Lim.
The Consular Outreach Program (COP) is a regular activity of the Consulate General to bring its various services closer to its constituents residing in areas within its jurisdiction. According to the 2010 U.S. Census, there are 180,770 Filipinos in the San Diego County area. END
